Comedy Central is an American cable channel owned by ViacomCBS. The channel features sketches, stand-up, and original series/movies. Though it is available on cable, Comedy Central has found a strong following online through the sharing of shorter comedy clips and web based series. Comedy Central is not a political satire source, though it will occasionally produce sketches that are strongly Left leaning or Centrist. The channel has also come under fire from Conservative groups for its production of raunchy and provocative content that many deem too explicit or shocking for television.
