Nate Silver Rated Lean Left in April 2025 Small Group Editorial Review

A group of three AllSides reviewers on the left, center, and right rated Nate Silver Lean Left in an April 2025 Small Group Editorial Review. A Lean Left reviewer said, "His analysis is usually impartial, but his personal opinions are undoubtedly Lean Left."

On tariffs, Silver said, "The people still defending the tariffs now are the equivalent of people who defended Biden running for re-election even after the debate. The best litmus tests I've ever seen for complete partisan hackery."

Although Silver has Lean Left opinions, he's also said, "I was critical the clusterf**k that was Biden/Harris/Walz, but everything they've done or said since then suggests that I was far too gentle," and "Uhhhh I've explicitly written that the media should cover Trump's age more too, all these guys are way too old. That doesn't erase the fact that renominating Biden was one of the dumbest blunders in political history."
