Alabama Sen. Sessions Backs Trump’s Immigration Platform

Donald Trump received a key endorsement for his immigration platform Friday night: Sen. Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.), one of the strongest proponents of restricting immigration in Congress.
Mr. Sessions appeared with Mr. Trump, wearing the Trump campaign’s signature “Make America Great Again” baseball cap, at a rally at a football stadium in Mobile, Ala.
“I’m really impressed with your plan,” Mr. Sessions said while standing on stage with Mr. Trump. “I know it will make a difference and this crowd shows a lot of people agree with that.”
