BRIDGETON — A story on a murder that occurred on Christmas Day in the city is false and was created by artificial intelligence, according to a post on the Police Department's Facebook page. The story posted on newsbreak.com says a local resident was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in the 100 block of West Broad Street. As of early Thursday afternoon, the story had been removed from the site. "It is entirely false," according to a statement on the department's Facebook page.
