‘Call DeWine on the $500k:’ About a month before the 2018 gubernatorial election, then-Attorney General Mike DeWine texted FirstEnergy’s CEO Chuck Jones looking for financial support to get him over the finish line, Jake Zuckerman reports, based on newly obtained text messages.
