USD alum Nilsen clinches another Team USA spot, set to pole vault at Paris games

The South Dakota alumnus will represent Team USA in the men’s pole vault in Paris at the 2024 games. Nilsen was one of three pole vaulters to clear 19 feet, 3 inches during the men's trials over the weekend at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon in Eugene. Nilsen will be joined in Paris on the US roster by Sam Kendricks and Jacob Wooten.
