Preliminary results are in for the 2024 Summit County Council Seat C primary election
Polls closed at 8 p.m. on Tuesday and the first round of primary election results are in from the Summit County Clerk’s Office. Housing advocate Megan McKenna gained a slight lead over Snyderville Basin Planning Commissioner Thomas Cooke for the Democratic nominee to Summit County Council Seat C, according to the results as of 8:40 p.m. She earned 1,201 votes, or about 55%, compared to Cooke’s 981 votes, or 45%.
