Rogers man pleads not guilty in death by delivery in fentanyl case

A Rogers man pleaded not guilty to a charge accusing him of selling the fentanyl that caused a man's death. Enrique DeJesus Valdez, 23, entered his plea Tuesday at his arraignment before Benton County Circuit Judge Brad Karren. He is charged with aggravated death by delivery. He is accused of knowingly delivering fentanyl to another person, and the injection, ingestion, inhalation, or other introduction of the fentanyl, including an adulterants or diluents, did cause the death of the other person, according to court documents.
