The National Hurricane Center is tracking two tropical waves in the Atlantic Ocean, one of which has the potential to become the season's next named storm. Designated as Invest 95L, the tropical wave was located several hundred miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands and continues to produce "disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity," according to the NHC, noting that "further development of this system is anticipated."
