Mercer high schooler tours US Capitol to see her art on display
WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKBN) – On Thursday, a Mercer High School student got to see her art on display in the U.S. Capitol Complex.
Braiden Douds is the winner of Rep. Mike Kelly’s Congressional Art Competition.
She met with the congressman and received a tour of the Capitol.
Her work will be displayed at the U.S. Capitol Complex for 11 months.
It was picked out of 73 entries from 13 schools across Kelly’s district.
