Carriage horse in Cape May dies after medical issue

A carriage horse died on Thursday in Cape May after suffering a “medical catastrophe,” the carriage company said. The horse, named Ice, fell ill in a “public setting,” Cape May Carriage said in a statement posted on its Facebook page. “Keep in mind it would have happened no matter where our boy was.” Cape May Carriage said Ice is the first of its horses to die in this manner in its 41 years of business.
