A Mollie Stone’s grocery store in San Francisco’s Castro district was allowed to reopen one day after a rodent infestation led to its closure. San Francisco health inspectors allowed the store on 18th Street to reopen Friday after determining “the imminent public health hazard” was fixed, according to a report by the Department of Public Health. On Thursday, inspectors found several signs of a rodent infestation, including rodent droppings on single-use containers of food in the deli and cheese section and on shelves for bread, cookies, chips and other items....
