Pontiac City Council to vote on additional sales tax for infrastructure needs

PONTIAC — An additional 1% sales tax intended to supplement the city of Pontiac's infrastructure budget will be up for council consideration on Monday. Pontiac City Administrator Jim Woolford said the city uses a rating system for all of its streets, sidewalks, paths and trails, many of which as rated as in need of immediate repair.
