NY weather update: Thunderstorms with damaging winds to hit Oswego County Sunday

An updated severe thunderstorm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 1:34 a.m. in effect until 1:45 a.m. for Oswego County. Residents should prepare for wind gusts of up to 60 mph. "At 1:33 a.m., a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles northeast of Central Square, or 13 miles west of Camden, moving east at 45 mph," states the weather service.
