CDC alert: Record-high cases of dengue virus pose health hazard for Americans
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is warning that dengue virus is infecting more residents and travelers than ever before in the Americas, and posing a health hazard for people in the United States.
A health advisory warning about “an increased risk of dengue virus (DENV) infections in the United States in 2024” has been released by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
