General Manager Kevyn Adams added another tough, physical player to his fourth line when free agency opening Monday. Sam Lafferty joined the Sabres on a two-year contract worth $2 million per season, a source confirmed to The Buffalo News. The move came two days after Buffalo acquired winger Beck Malenstyn from the Washington. Chris Johnston and Elliotte Friedman were the first to report Lafferty's signing.
