Japanese burgers have arrived in Dallas at new Ookuma in the Cedars

Dallas has no shortage of burgers and no shortage of Japanese cuisine, but Japanese burgers have been virtually nonexistent in the city until now. Ookuma, a new walk-up restaurant from two local restaurant industry veterans, is serving teriyaki-infused burgers out of a space in the Cedars that previously housed Sandwich Hag. It’s one of the only places in Dallas making the Japanese fast food classic.
