National Weather Service confirms EF-1 tornado in southwest Lancaster County

ROKEBY, Neb. (KOLN) - The National Weather Service confirmed Tuesday that a tornado touched down in southwest Lancaster County overnight. The EF-1 tornado carved out a path of destruction 2.28 miles long with max wind speeds of 107 mph. According to NWS, the tornado touched down along Southwest 27th Street just south of West Rokeby Road and damaged homes, barns and knocked down trees in its path.
