Mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures are expected Wednesday in Connecticut before a few showers and possible thunderstorms may dampen the Fourth of July holiday, the National Weather Service said. "There is potential for a few thunderstorms July 4th afternoon into evening," the weather service said in a hazardous weather outlook for Fairfield County.
