Early morning fire displaces family of 5 from N.J. apartment

A family living in an upstairs apartment was displaced by an early morning fire Wednesday that damaged their dwelling and a business below it, according to Gloucester Township police. The fire broke out on the Black Horse Pike around 1:05 a.m. in Gloucester Township’s Blackwood section, police said. The family of five all evacuated the building, but were displaced and are being sheltered by relatives, police said. No injuries were reported.
