Witnesses may testify for business owner accused of bribing Sen. Menendez

Jurors are hearing one more day of witnesses who will be trying to clear Sen. Bob Menendez of a bribery charge before heading home for the Fourth of July holiday. A large focus of today’s court proceeding has been witnesses for defendant Wael Hana, and whether or not Judge Sidney Stein will allow them to testify. Hana is the owner of ISEG Halal in Edgewater. Hana is accused of paying bribes of cash and gold to Menendez plus mortgage payments for his wife Nadine in return for the senator’s help....
