Mankato fireworks moved to Friday because of Thursday weather concerns

MANKATO — The city of Mankato has rescheduled its Red, Hot & Boom fireworks display to Friday due to concerns about Thursday's weather. The city said it decided to move the show after the weather forecast called for potential severe weather and rain on Thursday. Fireworks will begin 10 p.m. and can be viewed from the Minnesota State University Athletic Fields, 191 Stadium Road. Parking will be available in the university parking lots 20-23.
