Barrio restaurant closing, to reopen as new concept

Barrio Taqueria + Tequila, a modern Mexican spot in the Fan at 2229 W. Main St., announced that it will be closing in the months ahead to relaunch as a new concept. Ramy Yacoub purchased Barrio late last year from the Richmond Restaurant Group. He also owns 3 Monkey’s Bar & Grill, which is located about a block away.
