GM, Unifor reach tentative deal for workers at CAMI Assembly electric van plant

General Motors Co. and Unifor, the union representing autoworkers in Canada, reached a deal early Wednesday on a new agreement for the CAMI Assembly and battery assembly facilities. Specifics on the agreement, which was announced after 3 a.m., weren't disclosed. Details will first be released to union members of Local 88 at a Sunday, Sept. 22, ratification meeting.
