Atmos Energy crews respond to natural gas leak in Metairie

Atmos Energy crews are on the scene of a natural gas leak in Metairie, according to Atmos manager of public affairs Leah Oby. Oby said a third-party contractor was doing work "unrelated to Atmos Energy" near Airline Drive and Central Avenue and damaged a natural gas pipeline. Atmos technicians are on the scene making repairs and working with local fire and police to make the area safe.
