The San Marino estate of the late Roger E. Stangeland, a former Vons executive who was instrumental in growing the supermarket chain in Southern California, is on the market for $7.995 million. Lush, manicured grounds surround the two-story, 5,881-square-foot Mediterranean revival-style home, designed by the period revivalist architect Wallace Neff and completed in 1929. It has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and airy living spaces with French doors opening to the outdoors.
