Lloyd District credit union branch to close, citing safety, drop in walk-in customers

First Tech Federal Credit Union told its members this month it is closing its Lloyd District branch, citing a drop in walk-in customers and safety concerns. The branch will close Nov. 15 and staff will be moved to a new location in Vancouver, according to an email from Chris Mantie, the vice president of experience center sales and service for the company.
