Smoke from Northern California fire expected to drift into SF Bay Area
Smoke from the Thompson Fire burning near Oroville, 150 miles northeast of San Francisco, was beginning to drift into the Bay Area Tuesday night and is forecast to continue to move into the region on Wednesday, as a heat wave continues to bake California, officials said.
