Michigan Central Station new amenities include guided tours, coffee shop

Michigan Central Station is adding new amenities for visitors, including guided tours and its first new restaurant since closing in 1998. Tours are being offered in partnership with Detroit History Tours and will start on Oct. 8. They include inside anecdotes from experts about the building's history, restoration, and next chapter. A purchased ticket will allow participants through the station's ground floor and areas inaccessible to the general public. Tickets are required and are available on Michigan Central's website.
