SF Pride Parade draws thousands in rainbow-colored love letter to LGBTQ community

Thousands of people lined up along San Francisco’s Market Street hours in advance Sunday morning to see the Pride Parade, with marchers and spectators seeking to cast a “Beacon of Love” over one of the largest LGBTQ celebrations in the world. The parade kicked off with the Dykes on Bikes, a motorcycle contingent with hundreds of riders that has led the event since 1976.
