Flood watch extended, remains active across Harris County Thursday

According to a Harris County Flood Warning System monitor, more than an inch of rain had been detected in areas of southeast Houston Thursday morning. Rainfall amounts averaged half of an inch in central Harris County. A flood watch issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday was extended and will remain in effect across Harris County until Thursday afternoon.
