Mortgage rates stuck near 7% and record high home prices have cooled housing market activity in many Maryland areas and throughout the mid-Atlantic, according to the June 2024 Housing Report released Wednesday by North Bethesda-based multiple listing service Bright MLS. Home prices are at record highs across the Baltimore metro area, the report showed. In June, the median sold price was $412,500, up 7.1% compared to a year ago.
