AllSides News Aggregator Bias Chart

The AllSides News Aggregator Bias Chart™ reveals the media bias of popular news aggregators, such as Google News, Bing News, Yahoo! News, Apple News, Drudge Report, and more.

News aggregators provide multiple news sources, but that doesn't mean they provide balanced perspectives. Don't assume that just because an aggregator curates from a variety of sources that you're being presented with the full story and multiple perspectives.

Everyone has a bias, but hidden bias misleads and divides us. Our media bias charts and other tools for news balance free you from filter bubbles so you can get multiple viewpoints and think for yourself.

How Does AllSides Rate News Aggregator Bias?

Each news aggregator was rated by collecting the news stories presented on the aggregators' homepages over a period of time. In some cases, we also collected results the aggregator returned for certain search terms. We then matched each article with the news sources' associated AllSides Media Bias Rating to get an overall picture of how often the news aggregator returns results from Left, Lean Left, Center, Lean Right, or Right-rated outlets.

As of  2026, AllSides found news aggregators curate primarily from media outlets with a rating of Lean Left or Left, and most curate less than 10% of articles from news outlets rated Lean Right or Right. The AllSides News Aggregator Bias Chart™ displays the overall bias rating we assigned for the news aggregator itself, based on the diversity of sources it displays on its homepage and/or in search results for certain political queries like electionabortioneconomy, and more.

News aggregator bias ratings are backed by 2,400 AllSides Media Bias Ratings, which reflect the average judgement of all Americans. AllSides rates news source bias with methods that balance input from experts and everyday Americans across the political spectrum so that our ratings reveal the average judgement of all Americans, not one elite group. To rate bias, we use Editorial Reviews by a multipartisan panel of experts trained to see bias as well as Blind Bias Surveys of Americans, in which participants rate content without knowing the source.
